"content": "The other issue that I have observed in this Report is that the Committee has recommended decisive measures that should be undertaken by various agencies. One of the agencies that have been given a lot of prominence in this Report is Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission. I have made an observation which I want to read. If you go to the Report on page 466, there are recommendations by the Committee on the financial reports of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development. One of the recommendations that has been given out here is that the EACC should expedite completion of the investigation on the irregularities in the retention funds for Financial Years 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 with a view to prosecute those involved in the misuse of public funds."
