    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, pursuant to Article 107 (1) (c) of the Constitution and Senate Standing Order No.15, the Senate elects Sen. Abshiro Halake to preside at the Sittings of the Senate on Tuesday 4th December, 2018, which is today, to Thursday 6th December, 2018, in the absence of the Speaker, the Deputy Speaker and Members of the Speaker‟s Panel. It has become necessary because many Members who are in the Speaker‟s Panel are currently away on official business. Therefore, we might find ourselves in a position where we do not have a Chair to preside over the House. I am moving this Motion so that the Senate can vote for Sen. Halake, who is consistently always in the House. She is capable and able---."
