    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, pursuant to Standing Order No. 48(1), I rise to seek a Statement from the Committee on Education on the status of implementation of the new school curriculum in the country. In the Statement, the Committee should:- (1) Give a general overview of the new school curriculum, stating its implementation status. (2) Explain the extent to which the teachers have been trained to handle the new curriculum. (3) Elaborate the extent to which study materials have been availed in schools for the new curriculum."
