"content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I would also like to add my voice in congratulating Sen. Wetangula for bringing this Statement. As always, he does point out some very key issues that are affecting the country, especially issues around mega projects; how they are handled. The design and the potential for them to be instruments of fraud and corruption is something that this House must make sure that we hold people accountable. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, some of the mega projects have been touted as Vision 2030 projects. Vision 2030 has all these projects lined up; the ones that are going to take us to the next level of development of 10 per cent growth. They are supposed to give us return on investments. However, so far, what we have seen is that there is no return on investment from these projects and they seem to have been designed with corruption in mind. I am glad that this House is going to take care of this issue and that the Energy Committee is going to look into it.
