    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for the opportunity. Pursuant to Standing Order 48(1), I rise to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Roads and Transportation regarding the transfer of the management of operations of the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to the Kenya Airways Limited. In the statement the Committee should- (1) Explain why the Government has contracted Kenya Airways Limited to manage the operations at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya Airways being a public enterprise listed in the Nairobi Stock Exchange in place of the Kenya Airways Authority, a wholly Government owned public enterprise/parastatal; The electronic version of the Senate Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
