Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 7 of the Bill be amended in the proposed amendment to Section 45 by deleting the expression “Cap. 486” and substituting therefor the expression “(No.17 of 2015).” The purpose of the amendment is to provide the correct citation for the Companies Act. The principal Act was based on citation of an old Act, but since its enactment in 2015, it was felt it is necessary to get the correct citation of the Companies Act, No.17 of 2015."
