    "content": "The function to examine bills related to the National Budget including Appropriation Bills is provided for in National Assembly Standing Order 207(3)(d). The Budget and Appropriations Committee has always reviewed Appropriation Bills. However, other budget related bills are reviewed and scrutinized by the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning. This includes the Finance Bill that is introduced in the National Assembly every year."
