This is because if you import ten tones of cargo, especially medicine, and it happens that the cargo stays at the airport for ten days, you will end up paying over Kshs1 million. I am saying this because the fee is passed on to the consumer, who is the common mwananchi. Could the Assistant Minister consider waiving all storage charges on essential commodities like medicine?"
