My Question is directed to the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife: (a) Is the Cabinet Secretary aware that the rampant human-wildlife conflict in Imenti, Tigania and Igembe areas of Meru County has led to huge losses and damages to crops thus affecting their main source of livelihood? (b) Are there plans to expedite the payment process for the victims of human-wildlife conflict in Meru County? (c) What measures is the Ministry putting in place to put to a stop the rampant occurrence of human-wildlife conflict considering that the installation of an electric fence around Mt. Kenya Forest has not fully achieved the intended purpose? Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker."
