    "content": "Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution, the Public Finance Management Act and the Standing Orders, the National Treasury is expected to submit the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the Financial Year 2019/2020 on or before 30th April 2019. This will go to the committees for public hearings and engagement with the relevant Government ministries, departments and agencies during the month of May 2019. This will pave way for the passage of the final Budget through the Committee of Supply and the introduction of the Appropriation Bills, 2019, which will be passed by the House on or before 26th June 2019."
