    "content": "(a) suing and being sued; (b) taking, purchasing or otherwise acquiring, holding, charging or disposing of movable and immovable property; (c) borrowing and lending money; and (d) doing or performing all other things or acts for the furtherance of the provisions of the Act which may be lawfully done or performed by a body corporate. (3) Except as otherwise provided in this Act, the Authority shall be independent in the performance of its functions and exercise of its powers and shall not be subject to the direction or control of any person or authority."
