    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, my concern is about the current Constitution, which, in Section 27, provides for equality and freedom from discrimination. It is very painful that when you go to that area, you find that women who are more than 50 years old do not have identity cards, the reason being that they are unable to satisfy the vetting committee. In the rest of the country, all that one needs to have is one’s father’s identity card. He goes with it to the registration officer and his documents are processed. What are you doing to ensure that the vetting process is removed, so that the exercise is simplified for Kenyans of Somali origin; more importantly, when are you going to make sure that you stop punishing Kenyan Somali due to your sealing of the porous border between Kenya and Somalia?"
