    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for giving me the opportunity to comment on the petition from my friend, Hon. Mariru. The delocalisation of teachers has brought a lot of acrimony in this country not because the teachers were being transferred but by the manner in which the Government or the Ministry decided to post teachers away from their localities. In as much as we appreciate that once you are engaged by the Government you can work anywhere in the country, the way it was done, it was as if they were trying to punish some of the old teachers, those who are about to retire and others have medical problems. It was done abruptly that it affected so many teachers. We need at least proper engagement where once that programme has been started, we could start with the young teachers and leave the older ones.
