(a) Yes, I am aware that the development of Maragua Wholesale Market is one of the ten flagship wholesale hubs to be implemented under the First Medium-Term Plan of Vision 2030. However, the Town Council of Maragua has not yet identified land for construction of the market as alleged by the hon. Member. (b) Planning for the Maragua Wholesale Market Project will commence as soon as land is available and the relevant budgetary support sought during the 2011/2012 Financial Year."
