    "content": "A few minutes ago, we were debating the issue where university graduates will be jailed because of non-payment of their Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) loans. There was a time when the slogan was to encourage them to take up agriculture as a business. However, no youth would ever dare take agriculture as a business. This is, first of all, due to the lack of capital; and even after getting capital through whichever crooked means, at the end of it all, it will end up on the rocks. You realise that farmers in the North Rift are being paid slowly for their produce to date; and they have suffered for long without payment. This might lead to a delay in preparation of those farms as well as in planting, which will affect the next cycle."
