Speaker, this Bill is so important as its sole objective is to facilitate the elimination of overlaps in the funding of the sports sector by repealing the provisions of the Sports Act that provide for the establishment and operationalisation of the National Sports Fund and the National Sports Fund Board of Trustees. So, these amendments want to anchor in law two institutions: The National Sports Fund where all the monies from the gaming, lotteries and winnings will be channelled and, the board of trustees of the National Sports Fund."
