    "content": "To be very clear, a Member of Parliament, under Section 34 of the old Constitution, the only disqualification is clear. There is nothing about that. It just says that you need to be a citizen of Kenya of 21 years old or above. You need to be registered in some constituency as a voter, and you should be able to speak English and Kiswahili. So, the standard for Members of Parliament is low in the old Constitution, and that is how we all came here, and we are still coming here. However, for Ministers, Chapter Six, as read together with the Kenya Anti- Corruption and Economic Crimes Act, stipulates otherwise.
