From your previous rulings, you have always indicated that the Committees should move on their own volition, but the weight of this matter, the public interest and the mood in the country is such that we need to dispense with this matter soonest. We do concur but, as you are aware, the CPA Conference affected ours staffers. The good news is that you have given us some of the finest staffers in that Committee, but they were also engaged in the CPA Conference affairs. Subsequently, I am seeking indulgence of the House, so that we can have an additional two to three weeks, so that we can give you a comprehensive report as requested and ordered by yourself."
