    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, while the investigations were going on the allegations of misappropriation of funds based on internal audit that the board had requested for, the corporation’s offices were gutted down by fire on 24th of September, 2009. On preliminary investigations, it was established that some payments were made without supporting documents and the management was aware of it. The board then requested the police and fire experts from the Ministry of Public Works to investigate the fire incident. Hon. Members will recall that I immediately dissolved the board of directors and sent the Managing Director and key members of staff on compulsory leave to pave way for thorough investigations."
