    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, on Tana Athi Water Services Board (TAWSB), this is one of the eight water services board with mandate to develop water and sewerage infrastructure and provide water services in the designated areas. On this, I would like to say that it is the last one that we formed in 2008; it was gazetted on June 4th. In a routine inspection, once again carried out by Water Services Regulatory Board in March, 2010, there were allegations of misappropriation of funds by TAWSB. Issues highlighted included pipes procured and not delivered, conflict of interest by the management on the procurement of goods and services and exaggerated prices on the procured goods."
