You know that we have no such official as the “vice president” under the current Constitution. The Senate Majority Leader, by inference, says that you were referring to the Deputy President. What I need to clarify from you, because I do not want to be part of the debate, is whether you meant the Deputy President. Who did you want to refer to when you referred to the “vice president?” That clarification will be enough, and then I will request that we do not sensationalize this beyond that point."
