Speaker, pursuant to Standing Order No. 43, I wish to make a statement regarding ease of access to the upcoming Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) system for persons with disabilities. For many years, persons with disabilities have been marginalised in the provision of the necessary facilities to enable them to access various services. For instance, the transport sector has not provided access to user-friendly modes of transport."
