Speaker, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security on the Vetting of Nominees for Appointment as Chairperson and Members to the National Police Service Commission, laid on the Table of House on Tuesday, 5th March 2019, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 250(2)(b) of the Constitution, Section 6(6) of the National Police Service Commission Act, and Section 8 of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act, approves the appointment of the following persons to the National Police Service Commission: (i) Mr. Eliud Ndung'u Kinuthia - Chairperson.
