    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Chairman, I was about to complain that you are ignoring me. I oppose the proposed amendment. As my colleagues have said, I think it is not a well-founded amendment and could be aimed at other intentions. Article 106 (2)(c) of the Constitution of Kenya clearly states the threshold thus: “The office of Speaker or Deputy Speaker shall become vacant – (c) If the relevant House so resolves by resolution supported by the votes of at least two- thirds of its members...”"
