Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to move the following Motion: THAT, this House adopts the Report of the Select Committee on National Government Constituencies Development Fund on the Status of Disbursements of Funds to the National Government Constituencies Development Fund as at 22nd February 2019, laid on the Table of House on 26th February 2019. Section 4 of the Act as amended establishes the NG-CDF as the national fund consisting of monies of an amount of not less than 2.5 per cent of all the national Government’s share of revenue as divided by the Division of Revenue Act, which was enacted pursuant to Article 218 of the Constitution. Pursuant to the provisions of the Act, the Government, through the National Treasury and Planning, allocated Kshs33,286,162,000 to fund the annual Development Estimates of 2018/19 Financial Year."
