He looks at the accounts of the national and county governments, the accounts of all funds and authorities, the accounts of all courts, accounts of the National Assembly and the Senate. If you go to section 11(1) of the Public Audit Act, you will again see in his own Act his functions. The Auditor-General, in my own language, is a mortician.
