Speaker, all we are asking is that when you are making your ruling, not only for this particular one, but for purposes of future use… It must not only be for PIC, but any other committee that wishes to come up with a progress report. The issue of progress reports was brought about through precedent. The Departmental Committees on Trade, Industry and Co-operative and that of Agriculture and Livestock had a joint investigation on the issue of sugar. A progress report was brought because of public interest. I do not want this to be a debate. However, it is better for you to judge and give a ruling that in future progress reports should be brought in a particular manner."
