    "content": "on Thursday, 21st February 2019, pursuant to provisions of Section 6(9) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act No.33 of 2011, the Office of the Clerk published an advertisement in the print media with wide circulation inviting members of the public to present submissions and memoranda touching on the suitability or otherwise of the nominees for chairperson and members of the National Police Service Commission. By close of business at 5.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 26th February 2019, no memoranda had been received from the public in favour or against the aforementioned nominees."
