    "content": "All these issues that I have highlighted face Kenyans, but they are not compensated. We do not compensate our poor workers when prices go up. The increment of fares has some ripple effect. It is because of such things that we have an increase in gender-based violence against women. This is caused by frustrations. Men always go back to the house and start beating up their wives and children because they have nowhere else to release their frustrations. We have seen the rise of robbery with violence. All these can be attributed to the high cost of living that Kenyans are not prepared for."
