    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this very critical Motion. When we talk about regulation of public transport fares, we are talking about controlling the growth of our economy. We are talking about a sector that affects everyone. As an enabler, this sector affects the common man – it affects Wanjiku, Mama Mboga and everybody. What impression do we get in terms of empowering these people to contribute to our economy if their earnings cannot be managed well? What we have now is a sector that is moving backwards. There were better days when things were good in the transport sector. Currently, we have so many challenges in this sector and we do not seem to be making any headway in terms of changes."
