In other jurisdictions where their citizens were affected, flags are flown half-mast and days of mourning have been declared. Since this is the first time that we are discussing the same in the Senate of the Republic of Kenya, I think it will be in order for the Senate to observe a minute of silence, led by the Speaker, in honour of our citizens who perished in that particular tragedy."
