    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to support the Petition which talks about funding of co-curricular activities in schools. As far as I am concerned, that is a noble idea that the petitioners have prayed for. However, we have a major problem in terms of funding for infrastructure activities for schools because the 100 per cent transition to secondary schools has affected schools in terms of capacity for infrastructure. There is serious lack of classrooms, dormitories and where students can be accommodated in schools. It is therefore my prayer that the plea by the petitioners is really looked into, not only on the issue of co-curricular activities but funding for infrastructure in schools. Thank you, Hon.
