    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No. 47(1) to make a Statement on a county issue regarding the County Assembly of Mombasa. The County Assembly of Mombasa is established under the Constitution of Kenya and the County Governments Act as a Legislative and oversight arm of the County Government of Mombasa. As part of its oversight function, the County Assembly invited three County Executive Committee (CEC) members for a meeting with their respective committees. However, the CEC Members did not honour their invitation, but instead issued threats to dissolve the County Assembly, claiming that they have failed to perform their mandate."
