    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I just want to respond and support the Statement that has just been made by Sen. Murkomen. Despite the fact that as a House we are doing well in terms of our business, petitions are a thorny issue and it is not the first time that this House is being faced with it. It keeps coming up. For whatever reason, it seems like the Senate seems to be more popular as far as petitions are concerned, because quite a number of them come to this House. We will be overwhelmed sooner than later because the number of petitions coming seems to be far more than the time we are using to prosecute them. I propose that maybe we could consider sub committees within the various Committees where these petitions go, to expedite them. We could form sub committees that are dedicated specifically to petitions. That might help us to move them a little bit faster and keep to the timeline that we are expected to keep.
