    "content": "I used to work in the embassies and in those days, it was difficult even to market Kenyan tea because we do not see it being marketed and value addition done in the country. I hope that among the functions of this Tea Regulatory Authority of Kenya is also to encourage our farmers to value-add, so that instead of just auctioning tea as a raw material at the auction in Mombasa, there is some value-addition done. We need to diversify so that our tea finds itself in the international market as a product of Kenya."
