I rise to seek a Ministerial Statement from the Minister of State for Special Programmes on the status of the World Food Programme (WFP) food distribution. Abiding by your ruling, I want to ask the Minister, on behalf of those Kenyans who are supposed to have received relief food, to confirm the status of distribution of relief food since January, 2010, being fully aware that in the last couple of months, there has been a tug of war between WFP and the Government of Kenya on who should be the lead agency."
