    "content": "In the current Roads Act, our NG-CDF Members are the ones who sit in the roads committees. The Senators now want to bring their members to the committee so that they can manage the roads themselves. They also want to bring in the governors. Some of us do not work very closely with the governors because we also want to be governors. I want to be the next governor of Kitui County. So, bringing my governor to rein on my road then it means that I will not do anything. Therefore, we must separate the powers of the governors and the powers of Members of Parliament. The Member for Garissa, who is my neighbour, wants me to be the Governor of Kitui County. So, when the Governor of Kitui County becomes a member of the roads committee, I will not do any road."
