    "content": "Thank you very much, Madam Temporary Speaker. I would like to support the appointment or election of Sen. (Dr.) Zani to preside over today’s sittings of the Senate. The best way to show that we care about women is to protect them when they are under attack and in this case, she has been under attack today in this House and we would like to protect her as well. Madam Temporary Speaker, I would like to thank the Senate Majority Leader for thinking about nominating Sen. (Dr.) Zani but at the same time, I would really like her to be free to exercise her wisdom and intellect without fear or favor. When you sit on that Chair, you do not want to go on that Chair with a particular profile that negates what you have. We would like her to sit on that Chair mainly so that she can exercise fair judgment and that she is not part of the narrative of referring to another political party. I am a defender of political parties as well. If a political party chooses that they want to discipline their members, I do not think that can be a subject of discussion in such a way as to make it look like we really have no issues with our own parties."
