That is the way to go even as we encourage them to continue offering meaningful oversight over county governments. The Committee, therefore, recommends that this House approves the Bill as follows: the national Government, on the vertical share of revenue gets Kshs1,561,416,000,000 and the county allocations be Kshs310 billion. The Committee requests the House to approve the Division of Revenue Bill 2019 and that the Bill be now read a Second Time. I request the one and only Hon. (Dr.) Makali Mulu, a very active Member of the Budget and Appropriations Committee, to second."
