    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, when I came to this Ministry, the first thing I did was to finalize the child labour policy which was not in place. As I speak, the child labour policy has been submitted to the Cabinet. We have also gone ahead to formulate the National Steering Committee (NSC), which has helped us to review the activities and the progress we have made with the assistance of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGOâs) which are doing a very good job. It is a big challenge, but as I speak, we want to fast-track the child labour policy. With the assistance of the NSC, my Ministry will have a legal framework that will help us to respond to the problem of child labour in this country."
