    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, let me thank Sen. Seneta for requesting this important Statement because the livestock industry in this country is neglected. We talk of agriculture, livestock and fisheries, but very little is being done in terms of what needs to be done in livestock farming. The Committee, while addressing this Statement, should come out clearly on the policies that are there in terms of livestock farming, both at the national and country level, so that animals are properly catered for in terms of diseases and rearing."
