    "content": "Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to support and also to request the House to pass a resolution to support this Report. Madam Temporary Speaker, the initial estimates given by the Commission on Revenue Allocation (CRA) in terms of governors’ residences was Kshs267,980,000. When we enquired why such high figures, we were told they were thinking of the same status as that of State House. Honestly, how can a governor have a residence that is equivalent to State House? Madam Temporary Speaker, in 2010, Kenyans voted overwhelming for the current Constitution with the hope that services would be brought closer to them. That is what they are demanding from.
