I also rise to support this Motion that seeks to implement a policy and criteria on how we will remunerate the village elders. It has been discussed here before that village elders are important people in our societies. These are people we rely on in the villages. Looking at the age bracket and from the name, these are very reliable people. We have used them in the past and they have not been remunerated."
