    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I wish to support this Bill. This is a very important Bill, because you cannot develop any region or area without first understanding the statistics of that area in terms of the population, economic activities of the people from that area and very many other parameters which would assist in planning so that we are able to come up with projects that will directly impact on the economy of the people. I want to appreciate that, at least, we have seen the Senate is now doing something which is very good. County governments have been developing their areas haphazardly without guiding principles on the areas that are more important and need to be focused on."
