    "content": "The name of the nominee and his Curriculum Vitae (CV) were referred by the National Assembly to the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security and by the Senate to the Standing Committee on National Security, Defence and Foreign Relations. Section 6(9) of the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act No.33 of 2011 provides that any person may prior to the approval hearing, by written statement on oath, provide the Clerk with evidence contesting the suitability of a candidate to hold the office to which the candidate has been nominated.
