    "content": "He has a Master’s degree in National Security Policy from Australia. He is suited for this job. However, let him know that he has a lot of work awaiting him. In the last Parliament, we tried to pass an amendment to the security laws to have the IG of Police become an accounting officer. We know this office faces challenges and I want to urge Hon. Koinange to propose amendments so that the new IG is given an opportunity to become an accounting officer. This office faces challenges while seeking resources from the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government. I do not see why he should not be given an opportunity to become an accounting officer of the resources assigned."
