    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to seek a statement from the Standing Committee on Finance and Budget regarding the loss of financial and procurement records of Migori County Government Executive. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Explain the circumstances under which the 2017/2018 financial and procurement records belonging to Migori County Government Executive were lost and therefore unavailable to the Auditor-General, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and other citizens for oversight or any other use. (2) Explain the disciplinary actions that have been taken against the officers responsible for the loss of the records. (3) Explain the actions being taken to reconstruct the records and when the process will be concluded, so that institutions and other interested parties can make use of the records."
