"content": "On the issue of physical planning, I would like to urge the Ministry that without proper long term physical plans for our towns, we cannot plan for these towns. I want to urge the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Local Government to ensure that physical plans for various towns are undertaken, so that we can know the plans for our towns in the next five to ten years. In this regard, it is extremely important that the Ministry sets up departments that create and store data for planning. In this regard, I would like to propose that each of the towns must have a GIS database, so that the GIS database can be used to create information that can be used very rapidly in carrying out any plans."
