Deputy Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government the following Question: (a) Is the Cabinet Secretary aware that stateless persons living in Kenya, namely, the Pemba, the Shona, descendants of Burundi and descendants of Britain, do not belong to any nationality? (b) What measures is the Ministry putting in place to ensure that such persons facing statelessness in the country are registered, especially in the ongoing National Information and Identification Management Systems (NIIMS)?
