    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. We have seen eggs being imported all the way from China. Kenya produces over 1.2 billion eggs, but the consumption of eggs in Kenya is less than 1 billion per year. Therefore, we are supposed to export and not import eggs. It is the same case with dairy farmers. I expected the President to talk about those issues. I still hope that the Cabinet Secretaries for Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and Trade, Industry and Cooperatives will help the farmers to avoid closing down their businesses."
